South Long Lake Road - Our first venture as part of the Native Plant Rescue, a section of the Grand Traverse Conservation District, was deemed a success!
Volunteer efforts along South Long Lake Road netted over 500 plants along the nearly 3.5 mile stretch of this Summer 2010 road project. Species rescued included Bellwort, False Solomon Seal, Solomon Seal, Sensitive Ferm, Ostrich Ferm, Jack-in-the-Pulip and Marsh Buttercup.
