Road closure

Keystone Road will be closed between the Grand Traverse County Brush Drop-Off Site and Traverse Bay Christian School through late fall while Hammond Road is being connected to Keystone Road.

Brine - dust control

Brining operations began on May 20 and will continue until all roads requested by the townships have been treated.

yikes, stripes!

On June 22, 2009 our pavement marking contractor will start painting centerlines and edgelines in Grand Traverse County.  Nearly $100,000 will be spent placing the 4" wide yellow paint (centerlines) for 312 miles and white paint (edgelines) for 197 miles.  Please obey the work zone signs and use caution when traveling near the areas of "fresh paint."
