General Bid Information
The Grand Traverse County Road Commission advertises for bids for annual materials and service, typically in the spring. Once awarded, bid price may be extended for a second year if mutually agreed upon by the vendor and the Road Commission.
Some services and materials are bought on infrequent basis. In such cases, vendors are contacted to provide quotes before purchases are made. Vendors interested in being placed on our bid list should contact the Road Commission Clerk.
Surplus and used equipment is sold directly by bid from the Road Commission or the items are placed in a collective auction with other governmental units, such as TCAPS School Auction. Contact the Clerk to be placed on our used equipment notification list.
