The Road Commission is finalizing its 2010 needs for materials and services with bids anticipated to be received on March 15, 2010 at 1 PM.  To check the status, Click bid page

WE HAVE AN ANSWER!  Let us know what's on your mind - Our Board is very interested in answering your questions.  Send your inquiry to us at gtcrc@gtcrc.org A Board member will answer one question during a regular meeting - which can then be viewed either on Channel99 or on LIAA's website.

ROAD WORK

Work on the Hammond-Keystone Road project is suspended for the winter.  The road is still closed between the Grand Traverse County Brush Drop-Off Site and Traverse Bay Christian School.  When winter weather subsides, the project will resume with a June 2010 completion date still anticipated.

2010 Meeting Schedule

The public is invited to attend meetings.  Limited public comment is available during two portions of the meeting.  If an expanded comment time is required, please contact the Clerk to be added to the agenda and to have an appointment time set.

All meetings, unless otherwise noted, are held on a Wednesday at the Road Commission office, 1881 LaFranier Road, Traverse City, MI  49686 and begin at 9 AM.

Public comment is held at shortly after the start of the meeting and just prior to the conclusion of the meeting with three minutes allowed for each presentation for non-agenda items. Presentations must be approved by the Chair seven (7) days prior to the meeting and are administrated through the Clerk. Proposals requiring staff review prior to Board presentation are required to be submitted ten workdays in advance. If you are an individual with a disability and need special assistance, please contact the Grand Traverse County Road Commission at least two business days in advance of the meeting.
